Mm…
Morning sun upon my wings…
Yeah…

With a gift of flight and coloured sight,
I greet the waking day,
I follow streams of nectar sweet
where warm winds show the way.
Through flowering gums and Yellow Box,
where scented blossoms sway,
Each bloom I touch, each grain I carry,
is enough for me today.

I’m a honeybee on the golden breeze,
dancing where the wildflowers grow,
Every flight has a quiet purpose,
every path I’ve come to know.
Round and round in an ancient dance,
older than memory,
I gather life from every bloom,
and the bloom gives life through me.

Dust of gold upon my feet,
I wander blossom to bloom,
Leaving tiny gifts behind
that promise life to come.
I never ask who planted them,
or who will rest beneath their trees,
I simply trust the work I’ve known
the faithful hum of bees.

I’m a honeybee on the golden breeze,
dancing where the wildflowers grow,
Every flight has a quiet purpose,
every path I’ve come to know.
Round and round in an ancient dance,
older than memory,
I gather life from every bloom,
and the bloom gives life through me.

The sun still rises, seasons turn,
I’ve never feared the sky,
The flowers call, I answer back,
without asking why.
There’s wisdom written in simple things,
for hearts that choose to see,
The smallest wings can hold the world
that’s enough for me.

I’ve never needed riches won,
or crowns upon my head,
Just morning light and fragrant blooms,
and sisters close instead.
The sweetest honey isn’t mine,
it’s shared for all to see,
For every drop begins with trust,
between the flowers and me.

I’m a honeybee on the golden breeze,
while the world keeps rushing by,
I carry hope from flower to flower
beneath the endless sky.
Round and round in an ancient dance,
the way it’s meant to be,
If you ever stop and hear my song,
you’ll hear Creation sing through me.

Mm…
One more flower…
One more flight…
Just a grateful hum…
Honeybee…

On the Golden Breeze

On the Golden BreezeThe Hive Sessions

“On the Golden Breeze” tells its story through the eyes of a honeybee, transforming the simple rhythm of a bee’s day into a reflection on purpose, connection and gratitude. Moving through flowering gums, Yellow Box and wildflowers, the bee asks for little from life beyond sunlight, nectar, flight and the company of its sisters.

Yet every seemingly small task contributes to something far greater. Pollen carried unknowingly between flowers helps create future seeds, trees and landscapes. The bee may never see the results of its work, but that does not diminish its importance. It simply trusts the ancient rhythm it has always known.

At the heart of the song is the idea that purpose does not need recognition or reward. There is wisdom in contributing what we can, sharing what we create and understanding that our smallest actions may touch lives we will never know.

Warm, uplifting and grounded in the natural world, “On the Golden Breeze” celebrates the extraordinary within the ordinary. It reminds us that abundance is not always measured by what we possess, but by how fully we participate in life and appreciate what is already around us.
